Who is Ziptux?
He is a ten-and-a-half-year-old boy from Earth and the hero of these adventures. Well, along with his partner in crime, Dibbly. In case you are wondering why he is not ten or eleven… It’s because he is not!
He is tall, with slightly ruffled hair, and always has a smile on his face. But I am sure you are wondering why he was called Ziptux? I know it sounds like a strange name for an Earthling. That wasn’t his real name though – that’s the first thing that Dibbly’s circuits sparked up when they met. He loved this name so much that he asked everyone – his parents, friends and even teachers – to start calling him Ziptux. I have seen his panograms, and somehow this name suits him quite well.
His real name was… Wait a minute, does it really matter? No, right? All that matters is the fantastic adventures he and Dibbly had together
Where is he from?
Ziptux comes from a small planet called Earth, which is in a boring galaxy called The Milky Way. I think you also live there, right?
If you want to get really specific, he originally came from a big country called India. Well, big by Earth’s standards at least. Though when he and Dibbly met, he was living in a little country called Switzerland.
And that is a little country by any standard!
Where did they meet?
It’s the million dollar question, isn’t it? But then a million Earth dollars will not even get you a melted ice-cream in the parking lot of Isidonk, so let’s not waste any more time on it.
If you were to visualise the universe on a single sheet of paper – you can’t really do that, but let’s just say you managed to – the simplest way to put it would be that they came from the opposite ends. Any further and you will be falling off the edge. They met more or less at the centre of it, actually a bit closer to Dibbly’s planet. But what difference do a couple of billion light years make?
